“Labor of Love” is an understatement when I try to define what my Ophelia is to me. Having began the journey in 2009 it has been a beautiful but also very slow, uphill road, with many dark patches and wrong turns. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I have had the pleasure and honor to have some amazing friends and mentors helping me along the way; Flávio Rabelo, Natalie Scott, Peader Kirk, Joseph Thorpe, Hannah Anketell, The Lighthouse family, and last but not least, Róisín Walsh.
And with the new year, a new journey commences and another name needs to be added to the above list.
I am very happy to announce that on the 8th of January I will be commencing a residency at University of Greenwich’s Bathway Theatre Network. I am extremely excited and happy to be given this amazing opportunity to really plunge myself into Ophelia’s world, and given the support and tools to explore and develop.
The residency will take place over the course of 3 weeks, culminating in a public performance on the 25th of January.
